Expert Whole Home Repipe in Kansas City, MO

A whole home repipe replaces every water supply line in your house. Mac Wilson, LLC handles this work for Kansas City homeowners dealing with corroded, failing, or outdated pipe systems. Many homes across Kansas City were built before 1980, when galvanized steel was the standard supply material. Over time, that pipe corrodes from the inside out, narrowing flow and pushing rust into your water. Kansas City's freeze-thaw winters and hard water conditions speed up that breakdown. Spot repairs stop working when the problem is system-wide. A full repipe addresses every line at once, from the main shutoff to each fixture. We inspect your existing system, map the best access points, route new lines cleanly, and pressure-test every connection before we leave. If your water runs discolored, your pressure has dropped, or you are patching the same lines repeatedly, call Mac Wilson, LLC to schedule a repipe assessment.

Whole Home Repipe FAQ

Common questions about whole home repipe in Kansas City, MO.

A full repipe is the right call when leaks or pressure problems keep coming back across multiple areas of the home. If your Kansas City house was built before 1980 and still has its original galvanized lines, a system-wide replacement is usually more practical than repeated patching.

Most Kansas City homeowners stay in the home during a repipe. We schedule water shutoffs in planned phases to keep disruption to a minimum.

Brown or yellow water at the tap, weak pressure, and recurring leaks at fittings are the most common signs. Galvanized pipe corrodes from the inside, so the outside can look intact while the interior is heavily restricted.

Yes, a whole home repipe replaces both hot and cold water supply lines throughout the house. New shutoff valves at sinks, toilets, and appliances are typically included as part of the work.

Yes, we assess access points before any work begins and plan the routing to minimize wall openings. Many older Kansas City homes have exposed lines in the basement that make replacement more straightforward.

We pressure-test every line and check flow at all fixtures before the job is complete. The system is flushed and verified before we leave your Kansas City home.

We interviewed approximately 10 contractors to move and add drains to our unfinished basement, prior to finding Mac Wilson. I found the admin team to be friendly with quick communication. We had the team in our home for 2 days. The on-site team was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a minor issue after day one and the entire team was quick to get the problem resolved, without any delays to the project. We would use them team again!

Zach and lane have gone the extra mile for us. When we’ve had issues they’ve taken the time to talk to us and make sure we’re happy. If you’re looking for a company you can trust I would highly recommend Mac Wilson. Update 4 Aug 2020: Zach and Lane came back out to install a single basin sink for us and did such a nice job that I felt I should show the work here. Ignore the old sealant (I asked them to leave it so I could do a little cleanup of our counters as a whole). Stunning install and took less than two hours.

I was super happy with the work completed by Chad and Carson. They showed up and when they said they would. The job took them less time than they anticipated and they were so nice and patient and great at explaining anything I asked about. I would recommend them for sure.
